Dear Caravan Director,
There have been some important changes made to the Caravan ministry and to the award process.
- All awards can now be ordered through Nazarene Publishing House. You no longer need approval to order any of the Caravan awards. This includes the Bresee medal. Reductions within the SDMI staff has resulted in a new reality for the administration of Caravan. As a result, the level of administration that had once existed is no longer possible.
- Congratulatory Letters are now available as PDF’s for download. Congratulatory letters for all Caravan awards, the Bunker, Winans, Lillenas & Bresee, will no longer be mailed from the Global Ministry Center. These letters are now in PDF form, and are available for download. Go to www.nazarene.org and go the the Children's page, click on Ministries, Caravan, Caravan Award Letters.
- No annual fee is required. Due to the changes that have been implemented, the $15 annual fee that had been used to cover the administrative costs and processing of awards is no longer required.

Theme – Learning from His Example, Living as His Disciple
Focus – In His actions toward His disciples, Christ taught them how a disciple should live. As His disciples, the children in each Caravan ministry are to also learn from His example.Caravan is a ministry designed to help young Christians grow as Jesus’ disciples. No greater lesson is taught through Caravan than learning from and embracing the example that Jesus Christ and His disciples have faithfully given to young Christians.But more than simply learning from the example that Christ and His disciples have given to us, children are to also strive to live out this example. The lessons, themes, and truths the children learn through Caravan must also become a part of their daily Christian lives.
