Caravan Theme for 2010-2011 : Jul 9, 2010
The New 2010-2011 Theme for Caravan Is Here!
Be Transformed!
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2, NIV).
In Romans 12:2, Paul offers our children a challenge. They are faced with daily choices to conform to the things of this world, or to Be Transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
The Caravan ministry is a valuable tool to help children Be Transformed so they stand out for Christ.
A transformed person is someone who:
- is centered on Jesus Christ.
- sets a positive example.
- makes right choices.
- understands what is really important in this life.
- displays trustworthiness and leadership.
- can be aided through an effective Caravan ministry.
As you plan the Caravan year:
- Plan activities that help children see how Caravan can help them Be Transformed by Christ.
- Create excitement and inspire children to become active participants in their transformation.
- Encourage children to Be Transformed and to participate in the transforming of the lives of their friends, family, and community for Christ.
